Passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on June 29th in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Harold “Bud” Edmonds in 2015. She will be missed by her daughter Melody MacKinnon (Dan), and step daughter Cathy Perro (Jim). Loving grandma to Zachery MacKinnon, Cameron Perro, and Michelle Scoular (Matthew), and great grandma to Grace and Emma Scoular. Survived by her sister Eleanor Dickenson (George). Predeceased by her sister Barb Benish (Frank), brother Bert Shipman (Lois), and her first husband Donald Bacon. Joan was an R.N.A. serving at the Henderson and Joseph Brant Hospitals, and O.R. Nurse at McMaster Hospital, and was the coordinator for the Dundas Red Cross Society. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends will be welcomed at the Marlatt Funeral Home Family Centre, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Saturday, July 8th at 11am for a Celebration of Joan’s life.
