My heart goes out to all of you at this time of great sorrow. Although I only saw Josh as a toddler, I remember him as a darling, active little boy who would certainly touch many lives. Now, having read all the comments in this guest book I can see he certainly did just that! Josh has definitely left his own legacy world wide. He touched so many lives, all of whom will carry his legacy forward now. From the photo gallery, I can feel the fun, loving family Josh enjoyed; all those life experiences made him the man he was and all of you were a part of it. I see a man who was gentle, sincere, honest, and very intelligent, with a great sense of humour to balance it all. Through all your pain, may the joys you knew and the love you all shared with Josh bring warm memories to hold on to. You all have a new Guardian Angel now who will be with you always! What can I say I had the pleasure of knowing you for over 10 years since you moved to Dundas and attended school at Dundana. Shared many great memories with you such as our bus rides to HSC, and our trip we took together after graduation to Montreal, or sharing our similar conservative political insights. I can confidently say you had the potential of achieving greatness of being our next great Prime Minister.

Matthew, although we are miles apart and don`t see each other often, we are family and I am deeply saddened by your loss.  Please know that I am thinking about you and sending my thoughts and prayers to you and the entire family.

I will always remember the political conversations I had with Josh with great fondness- he was always one to rally me on as part of the conservative minority at HSC. Josh although you are no longer here I am confident you are looking down on us giving your commentary on the political events of the day. You are loved and missed.

Mathew, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you come to term with losing your dear Son. May his soul rest in peace.

Josh has always been a good friend to me, since our high school days. He always said his best high school memories were the band trips. Josh and his Tuba...Mr McGuirk always reminded him how he is the foundation of the band. I remember he didn't want to go on the big rollercoasters but we made him anyway. The next challenge was getting him out of the park because he loved it so much. Just this winter he showed me a great diner in Toronto to get milkshakes. Frans. Josh was a great friend, and I will remember him with love always.

Josh, I remember our occasional political clashes fondly, as well as your honesty and integrity. To the Gilchrist family, I'm terribly sorry for your loss, and my thoughts are with you.
