Lorraine Stevenson

Surrounded by her family, Lorraine passed peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital. Born at Hotel-Dieu Hospital to Thomas Fowler and Marjorie Moran, Lorraine was a proud Kingston girl and graduate of Notre Dame Convent. Predeceased by her dear sister Joan Lappan.

Loving wife of Con Stevenson for over 62 years and forever loved mother of Aaron (Danita), Andrea (Andrew) and Stephanie (Gary). Cherished Grandma Lorraine to Brendan (Ashley), Noah (Maïté), Quinn and Liam. Aunt Lorraine to Tim, Debbie, Rod, Julie-Ann, Kathy, Bruce, Jamie and Todd.

A graduate of St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing (Toronto), Lorraine was an accomplished Registered Nurse and Director of Care. She passionately delivered excellent care (and had much fun doing so) to many seniors at St. Joseph’s Villa, Shalom Village, Santa Maria Senior Citizen’s Home and various other nursing positions in Dundas, Hamilton and Regina SK.

A dear friend to many, Lorraine was a wonderful storyteller with a great sense of humor, always making people laugh. Friendly, warm and caring, she always made people feel welcome and comfortable and her presence will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

A private family gathering has taken place. Funeral mass and Celebration of Lorraine’s wonderful life to take place in late Spring.
