Passed away on January 22, 2017 at Idlewyld Manor, Hamilton, Ontario. Born Margaret Katherine (Babe) Dinan, July 30, 1925 in Chatham, N.B. She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) O’Reilly and parents Mary (Robbins) and James Dinan. Margaret was the mother of Brian, Colleen (Jim) and Geri (Bruce); grandmother of Michael (Tami), Sarah (Derek), Maevanne (Mike), Sara and Shannon (Mathew); great grandmother of Cathryn, Miles, Klea, Connor, Evie, Parkin, Ethan, Diego and Liam. She is survived by her sisters Frances (Don) and Geraldine (Herman); predeceased by her brothers Raymond (Virgie), John (Audrey) and Jimmy, and her sister Shirleyan (Eddie). Margaret was a strong and determined woman who took great pride in all that she did. She was an employee of the Bank of Montreal in Dundas for many years, an avid gardener and loved knitting for generations of her family, who were her greatest joy. A special thank you to the staff of Idlewyld for their care and devotion.
Cremation has taken place and a family memorial will be held in the Spring.
