Was delivered into the arms of Jesus with family by her side on Monday, March 28, 2011 at McMaster Hospital in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Walter Strecker and her infant son Joseph. She will be missed by her daughter Lucy (Jerry) Dubeckyj. Beloved Babcia of Krisia and Dan. Remembered by her step daughter Stella (Karl) Kustor and family. Her long-time pet cockatiel Smokey will be lost without her. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Staff on Ward 4C at McMaster for their extraordinary compassion. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Thursday, March 31 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 1st at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas. Interment to follow at St. Augustine’s Catholic Cemetery, Dundas. Donations to the Parkinson’s Society or to St. Augustine’s Parish would be appreciated by the family.
