Peacefully passed away with his family at his side on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in his 82nd year. Loving husband of Concetta (nee Capobianco) for 59 years. Dear father of Ernie (Barb) and Alfonsina Rizzetto (Brian). Wonderful papanonno to Michael, Lisa, Eric, and Mark (Sarah). Predeceased by his parents Ernesto and Alfonsina, siblings Alfredo, Anna, and Elvira. He is survived by his brother Aldo and many nieces and nephews. Papa was a master carpenter, whose legacy will live on for many years to come. Hobbies he enjoyed included gardening, adventurous cooking and he was an avid sports fan. Thank you to St. Peter’s Hospital Palliative Unit, Dr. Bev’s team, especially Kristen. Family and friends will be received at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “SWACKHAMER CHAPEL”, 195 King Street West, Dundas, on Tuesday, May 5th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Marlatt Dundas Chapel on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Burlington.
