With family at his side, peacefully passed away at Wentworth Lodge on Saturday, October 27, 2012 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Mary Krompart for 62 years. Loving father of Wray (Diane) Krompart, Linda (David) Paron and daughter-in-law Elaine Krompart. Predeceased by his son Ross and sister Velma Pirie. Grandfather to Sarah (Bryce), Daryl (Lisa), Jason, Ian (Cass), and Cheryl. Roy, a lifelong farmer, was a longtime member of West Flamboro Presbyterian Church, Honorary Life Director of the Rockton Agriculture Society, Past Master of Dufferin Lodge and Meal-on-Wheels volunteer for 16 years. Friends will be received by family at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “Swackhamer Chapel”, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Wednesday, October 31 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Roy’s life will be conducted from the Marlatt Dundas Chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012. Interment to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to West Flamboro Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
