I also fondly recall Onkel Willi´s pigeons, his wonderful vegetable and flower garden, and the fruit trees. It was like being in the country and not in a large city. My deepest sympathy. Peace be with you.

The lives of your family and ours were interwoven through the years and the friendship that our parents had for each other was truly a gift. Onkel Willi's pigeons are among my most precious memories. I loved visiting and watching him care for them.

Dear Erna and Family,
   It is with deep sadness and with a heavy heart that we extend our deepest condolences at this time. Willi will very much be missed. Erna, I also wanted to mention that whenever we saw both Willi and you together, (at every gathering, endeavour, visit etc.) we just had to comment......"Boy, they both compliment each other so Beautifully. Thank you again for the hospitality that both of you have extended to our family and to my Mom and Dad over all the years. I believe that Willi is in the presence of God now rejoicing and enjoying the biggest homecoming ever. May God give you and the family Strength and Comfort.

Willi was a loving, kind, and generous brother-in-law who drove hundreds of miles to visit us and do the brickwork on two of our houses. There was never a doubt about his love for his wife, his family, and for God. No question that God has received him into his eternal home: Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His faithful servants (Psalm 116:15). I send my love and prayers to Erna and family.

Among the best memories of my extended family are recollections of the times spent at the Boehling home. Onkel Willi and Tante Erna's wonderful hospitality to me and my siblings made me feel a part of the family when I was with them. Their encouragement in adult years was a priceless gift. Onkel Willi has a special place of respect and love in my heart!
