

Aaron ""Ed"" Dalton, Sr., 64, of East Hartford, loving husband of Dorothea Nellie (Tsolas) Dalton, passed away suddenly on Sunday, (December 18, 2005) at his home. Born in Dallas, TX, a son of the late Larry and Matha (Allen) Dalton, he had resided in East Hartford for the past 28 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was employed as a generator mechanic for several years by NEMSI in the Hartford area. He was an individual who truly enjoyed cooking, barbecuing through out the year, baking, and wine tasting. He was a former area sales representative for Pampered Chef, and attended annual bread-making seminars at King Arthur Flour Company in Vermont. Ed also worked on computers and loved to exchange favorite recipes with his on-line buddies. He would also play cards, especially ""Texas Hold'em"", and follow the UCONN Basketball teams, especially the women's team. However, Ed found his greatest pride and joys in being around and spending quality time with his five adored grandchildren. Besides his beloved wife of 41 years, Mr. Dalton is survived by two sons, Aaron E. Dalton, Jr., and his wife, Deborah, of Marlborough, James L. Dalton of Glastonbury; a brother, Lloyd Dalton and his wife, Polly, of Meadowlakes, TX; his father-in-law, James Tsolas of East Hartford; his brother-in-law, neighbor, and dear friend, Robert Tsolas and his wife, Maryann, of East Hartford; his five special grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, Taylor, Kylie, Cullen; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday December 22, at 11 a.m. at the D'ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with Pastor Bob Faulhaber officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Veterans Memorial Field-Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford.
