Hey Ashley,

   I am having a REALLY hard time with this. I know you are gone, but at times I just don't believe its real. It like I expect to wake up from a really bad dream.
   I guess a lot of it has to do with fact that I have my sons around the same  age, and have been expecting that same knock on my door for 3 years now.
   I can't believe that your not here any longer. We were just messaging back and forth on myspace last week setting up the limo job for your prom June 1st. We joked around from time to time on there. About things that happened at the family gatherings.
   We didn't talk a whole lot but we always seemed to get a few laughs at the family gathering. I was telling you how I loved the way you were always smiling and had the same sense of humor I do.  I am really going to miss that. Not everyone gets that humor.
  Ashley you will ALWAYS be loved and NEVER forgotten. Rest Peacefully Ashley.

    I wrote a blog and a poem for Ashley on my myspace page. I thought I would post the poem I wrote here too for those that are not on myspace. This is for you Ashley.

            ""To Young To Go""

There are things in life no matter what
        you say, they are never 
            going to be right.
Like trying to justify how someone so     
 young can lose their precious life.

She had so much left to do, so much more   
   to see. So many more experiences 
           to live in life.
 Like going off to college, getting a         
    degree, falling in love, maybe 
       becoming somebodies wife.

They say there's a higher power, someone or something that watches us from above.
If this is true then how do you explain why they take someone so young, so 
      respectful and so loved.

Who is this power? What gave them the  
 right to make the rules and run the 
    show? For I know it was not me.
To give a life and take it back, and   
      only at seventeen. Surley 
        this should never be!

There are certain things in life, things   
     you should never have to do.
One is as parents you should never have   
     to mourn your child,they are 
         suppose to mourn you.

 I wish I knew a way to take away her  
 parents and families pain and sorrow.
Unfortunately that's just not possible,   
  all we can do is be there for them
        today an every tomorrow.
 
I will always regret not getting to know   
     you better, and spending more 
          time with you too.
 Ashley you will be mourned and missed,  
   and this world will be a far worse 
          place without you.

In her passing some have loss a Daughter ,   a sister, cousin or best friend.
The one thing we will all agree on, she   
       was to young for her life 
           this soon to end.

 Things like this happen, and it makes   
     you realize how much of life 
            is truly rotten.
Ashley you maybe gone from this world,    
      but in our hearts you will 
           never be forgotten.

I will remember your smiling face in our school.I know you will be greatly missed by all your friends and one day I will see you again in that beautiful place you have gone too.

I was so shocked to hear of Ashley passing. I will never forget the times we all had as kids over here in Rivermead. To Laurie, Charles, and Dustin, I am so sorry for your loss, and you are in my prayers. God Bless.
