Beth Alison Tuchay Wrobel entered into eternal life on Monday October 14, 2024 at her home in Chestnut Hill, PA. Born in Hartford, CT on November 1, 1971, Beth was the beloved daughter of the late Carol Busher Tuchay and the late Gregory “Greg” Tuchay. Beth grew up in East Hartford, CT surrounded by a close village of caring families on Parkwood Drive and friends from Barnes Elementary and O’Connell Middle schools. She spent her childhood dancing, singing, swimming, roller skating, bike riding, attending Our Lady of Peace Church and traveling with her family on many favorite trips including San Francisco and Mexico. Beth cherished her time with her grandparents, spending many Sundays at Lake Alexander in Putnam, CT with the late Gordon “Dick” and Alice (Rogers) Busher, and many days with her late grandma Mamie Tuchay cooking Russian food together on Madison Street in Hartford.
Beth graduated from East Hartford High School in 1989. A member of the Drill team, Beth’s glowing, bubbly and humorous personality was recognized as both the Class Clown and the Most Outgoing. Outside the classroom, Beth spent time tutoring many of her students after elementary school through their college years. Beth also had a passion for volunteering including preparing and serving food to those in need and supporting East Hartford Special Olympics for many years as a coach and mentor. Beth was exceptionally brilliant and creative. She was an entrepreneur, creating and founding her own small business, The Blissful Teacher, a line of all-natural fragrances and oils for educators.
