Dennis A. Picard, 73, of East Windsor and formerly of East Hartford, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford on February 25, 1949, a son of the late Alcide and Irene (Beaudet) Picard, he was a resident of the East Hartford area for most of his life. Dennis worked for 43 years in the shipping and receiving department at Chandler-Evans Manufacturing, Inc., West Hartford. He enjoyed watching western/cowboy shows and movies, professional wrestling, and going to area casinos. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, David, Richard, and Stephen Picard; and his sister, Lorraine Salkauskas. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, dear friends, and former co-workers.
A graveside service will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 1:30 pm at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, (Section W), Bloomfield. There are no calling hours. The D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford has been entrusted with the care of the funeral arrangements.
