Doris Ferrer-Cruz

Doris Ferrer-Cruz, 49, of Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at her home. Born in Boston, MA she was a resident of the Hartford area for 30 years. Doris was a proud home maker who loved to cook and liked dancing.

Doris leaves behind her true love of 33 years, Jose L. Cruz of Hartford; her parents, Samuel and Carmen (Tejada) Ferrer of Villa Rica, GA; two daughters, Doris J. Valentin and her husband, Richard, of East Hartford, Shasterin Valentin and her husband, Juan, of New Britain; three sons, Sammy L. Cruz and his wife, Alexandra, of Southwick, MA, Luis A. Cruz of Hartford, Jose L. Cruz, Jr. of Hartford; two sisters, Linda Ramos and her husband, Jose, of Villa Rica, GA, Sandra Santana and her husband, Jesus, of East Hartford; six special grandchildren; two nieces; four nephews; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Funeral service will be Friday (April 24th) at 10 am at the D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford.
