Edwin Campos Garcia, 40, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Born in El Salvador on October 4, 1983, he was the beloved son of Reina Garcia and Raul Campos Cortes. Edwin had spent his career as a Chef in the restaurant and healthcare industries. In his free time, Edwin enjoyed listening to music, especially Leo Dan and Vicente Fernandez, and rooting for his favorite team, the Golden State Warriors. He also enjoyed eating seafood and riding mopeds.
Besides his parents, Edwin leaves behind his wife of six years, Sonia Campos of East Hartford, his three children; David Echeverria, Dalilah Campos Garcia, and Edwin Campos Garcia, and two sisters; Monica Diaz and Sandra Garcia.
A graveside service for Edwin will be held on Monday, October 16 at 1 pm at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the gravesite. Calling hours will be held on Sunday October 15 from 12 - 4:30 pm with a service at 4:30 pm at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street East Hartford.
