George The Farmer"" Frank

George ""The Farmer"" B. Frank, 72, of East Hartford, beloved husband of Melodie Lee (Rand) Frank, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, (May 30, 2012) surrounded by his loving family. Born in Hartford on August 25, 1939, he was the son of the late August and Elsie (Hagenow) Frank. George worked as a truck driver for a medical supply company for many years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, but more than anything he loved spending time with his family and he especially loved his smile makers, Claudia, Mariah and Sadie. In addition to his wife, George is survived by his eight children, sons, David Frank of Ashford, Michael Frank of Rhode Island, Peter Beaulieu of Manchester, Toby Mebden of Kansas, and David Oppelt of East Hartford, daughters, Dara Chase of Massachusetts, Danica Chase of Rhode Island and Marissa Souza of Rhode Island; seven adored grandchildren; one special great-grandchild; his three sisters, Cynthia Frank of Texas, Linda Frank of Texas, and Marie King of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, George was predeceased by his brother, Edward Marks.
