

Ida ""Molly"" (Ruggiero) Dellaripa, 91, of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late John Michael Dellaripa, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, (January 18, 2012) with her family by her side. Born in Lawrence, MA on January 29, 1920, a daughter of the late Carlo and Filomena (Fawella) Ruggiero, she had been a resident of East Hartford for the past 50 years. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 20 years by Sage-Allen Warehouse in East Hartford. She was a faithful communicant of St. Mary's Church, East Hartford, a devoted and proud mother and grandmother, and a fan of ""western movies"". Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two sons, John A. Dellaripa of Redondo Beach, CA, Michael D. Dellaripa of Vernon, two daughters, Maria Dellaripa of East Hartford, Molly Masiuk of Milford; four sisters, and six brothers. ""Molly"" is survived by four sons, Richard C. Dellaripa and his wife, Laura, of Marietta, GA, Frederick C. Dellaripa and his wife, Janet, of Manchester, Nicholas J. Dellaripa of East Hartford, Robert J. Dellaripa and his wife, Jennifer, of Feeding Hills, MA, two daughters, Phyllis A. Kranmas and her husband, Sonny, of East Hartford, Pamela J. Dellaripa of East Hartford with whom she made her home; a brother, John Ruggiero of Windsor Locks; a sister, Maria Rotondo of Rehoboth, MA; a son-in-law, Mike Masiuk of Milford; a daughter-in-law, Etus Dellaripa of Redondo Beach, CA; a brother-in-law, Daniel Laffin of West Hartford; two sisters-in-law, Ann Ruggiero of East Windsor, Mary Dellaripa of Wethersfield; 17 special grandchildren; 23 adored great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Funeral services will be Monday (January 23) at 9 a.m. from the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Harford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, East Hartford. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Burnside Avenue, East Hartford.
