Jacqueline A. Evans, 70, of Middletown and formerly East Hartford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 29, 2020 after a long illness. Born in Scranton, PA on November 4, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Caroline (Zikoski) Evans. Jacqueline was a graduate of Coventry High School and worked for many years at Underwood Typewriter. She enjoyed gardening and loved music.
She will be forever missed by her two sons, Dusty Peterson and his significant other Justine DuBois and Terrell Evans and his significant other Colleen Haggerty and her two adored grandchildren, Christofer and Camdyn Evans. She is also survived by her brother, William Evans and his significant other, Arlene Kantor; her niece, Caroline Ann Evans and her nephew, William Evans.
Calling hour will be Monday (March 9) from 12-1 p.m. concluding with a Prayer Service at 1 p.m. at the D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford.
