John Michael Salvatore passed away in his home on December 14, 2023. John was born May 19, 1947, in Hartford, to Barbara and Antonio Salvatore. John graduated from Manchester High School in 1966, and served in the US Army. John was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After serving in the Army, John attended Cambridge College in Massachusetts. He transferred to UConn and graduated in 1977 with an English degree. John worked for a number of years at the American School for the Deaf before taking on a job at the US Post Office, where he worked for over 25 years.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Anthony and Michael. He is survived by his sister, Toni, her husband, George, his brother, Joe and sister, Suzanne, and by many loving nieces and nephews. Calling hours and a private service will be at the family’s discretion.
