

Julie Ann (Hames) Boyle, 65, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 20, 2024. Born on March 11, 1959, in Long Beach, California, Julie moved to Enfield at an early age where she was raised by Les and Joyce Hames. She graduated from Enfield High School, Class of 1977. Prior to retirement, Julie worked at The Hartford for over 30 years. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, volunteering at religious concert events, and attending painting classes with various senior centers. She was very involved with Crossroads Community Cathedral, East Hartford. Above all, Julie loved being a mother and spending time with her boys.
Along with her parents Les and Joyce Hames of Enfield, Julie leaves behind her son Sean Boyle of Manchester, her birth mother Barbara Keller of Wyoming, her half siblings, sister Carron of Virgina, brother Todd of Colorado, Brother Johnny of California, Niece Amanda with daughter of Wyoming, Nephew Kenneth with three sons of Colorado, and a special friend Amy Muro. Julie is predeceased by her husband John Boyle and, two sons Michael and Joshua Boyle and her brother JR Hames.
A memorial service to honor Julie’s life will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 11 am at Crossroads Community Cathedral, 1492 Silver Lane, East Hartford. Burial will be held at a later date. Everyone is asked to please meet directly at the church. Julie’s legacy will live on as she was an organ donor for New England Donor Service. The D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St. East Hartford has been entrusted with the care of the funeral arrangements.
