Justin Piteo

Justin “Jed” Peter Piteo, 63, of Haddam, CT was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Middlesex Memorial Hospital in Middletown after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on October 26, 1960 to Sandra and Michael Piteo and grew up in Enfield, CT. Justin enjoyed the outdoors, Native American culture, fishing, and archery. He participated in Boy Scouts when he was younger and enjoyed camping trips. Justin was a sweet, generous person who will be greatly missed. He was fortunate to have his loving family near him during his last few days.

Justin is survived by his mother, Sandra Hubbard (Wilson) Piteo of Glastonbury, CT; his brother, Randy M. Piteo and his wife Shari of Glastonbury, CT; his sister, Laura B. Shea and her husband Tim of Paris, KY; two nieces, Marissa Piteo and her significant other, Evan Kennedy, of Cranston, RI, Michelle Shea of Paris, KY; a nephew, Warren Shea and his fiancée, Hailey, of Kentucky; several cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Michael J. Piteo in February of 2023.

Funeral service will be Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11 am at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford.
