Leticia (rosario) Heredia

Leticia (Rosario) Heredia, 55, of East Hartford, loving wife of Ramon Heredia, went to be with Our Lord unexpectedly on Monday, November 30, 2009. Born in Bronx, NY on April 12, 1954, a daughter of Carmen (Ruemmely) Rosario of Tolland and the late Rafael Rosario, she had resided in the Greater Hartford area for the past twenty-two years. Leticia was a graduate of Lehman College in Bronx, NY and has been employed for the past fourteen years by the State of Connecticut DCF as an Out-Reach Coordinator in Foster and Adoptive Services. Leticia was a faithful and active member of Crossroads Community Cathedral in East Hartford. She enjoyed reading and was a member of a local book club with her fellow co-workers. However, Leticia?s greatest joy was spending time with her family on a daily basis and at various parties and dances. Along with her beloved husband, Ramon, of forty years and her mother, Leticia is survived by a son, Ramon Heredia, III of East Hartford; three custodial grandchildren, Mariah Heredia, Desiray Heredia, and Ramon Heredia, IV all of East Hartford; two brothers, Roberto Rosario and his wife, Rosaida, of West Hartford, Wilfredo Rosario and his wife, Flora, of Newton; a sister, Glenda Lugo and her husband, Edwin, of Tolland; several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends and co-workers. Funeral services will be Friday (December 4th) at 11 am at Crossroads Community Cathedral, 1492 Silver Lane, East Hartford. (Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church on Friday morning.) Burial will follow at South Cemetery, Cider Mill Road, Tolland. Relatives and friends may call at the D?Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford TODAY from 4-7 pm.
