Louis A. Wood

Louis was born in Hartford, CT on January 20, 1961, son of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Cohen) Wood. He worked for Capitol Towing for many years. Louis enjoyed riding his motorcycle as well as tinkering in his garage.

Besides his wife of 22 years, Louis is survived by his two step-daughters, Robynne Martino and her husband Peter of South Windsor and Nicole La Mont and her husband Troy of Minooka, IL, a brother, Robert Wood of Hartford, four sisters, Charlotte Pineda of Hartford, Doris Poulin of Hartford, Audrey Wood of East Hartford and Ellen Cook and her husband Allen of Windsor, his stepmother, Henrietta Wood of Coventry, six grandchildren, Ashleigh, Antoine, Becca, Colin, Aiden and Reagan, as well as several nieces and nephews. He will also be dearly missed by his two faithful companions, Opie and Minnie.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 11:00am-3:00pm at D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford, CT 06118. A Prayer Service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday at the Funeral Chapel.
