Margarita Delmoral

Margarita “Margot” (Martinez) Delmoral, 70, of Hartford, loving wife of 51 years of Candido Delmoral, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by her devoted family. Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico on October 29, 1951, a daughter of the late Pablo and Romula (Aponte) Martinez, she had been a resident of Hartford for over 50 years. A woman of strong faith, Margot was an active member for 44 years of Templo Fe Church in Hartford. She loved cooking, baking, and helping others. Most of all, she was a proud homemaker who took pride in her home in caring for her husband, children, and special grandchildren.

Along with her beloved husband, Margot is survived by two sons, Candido “Junior” Delmoral, Jr. and his wife, Jessica, of Springfield, MA, and Stephen Delmoral and his fiancée, Andrea Rosa, of East Hartford; three daughters, Ayleen Delmoral and her husband, Efrain DeJesus, of Hartford, Catherine Sepulveda and her husband, Luis, of Indian Orchard, MA, and Sasha Sanchez and her husband, Giovanni, of Springfield, MA; two brothers, Jesus Martinez of Hartford, Candido Martinez of Puerto Rico; two sisters, Ana Martinez and Maria Martinez both of Hartford; thirty adored grandchildren; twelve cherished great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Besides her parents, Margot was predeceased by a daughter, Vionette “Madea” Delmoral of Springfield, MA.

Funeral service will be Saturday (February 5, 2022) at 10 am at Templo Fe Church, 1019 Broad Street, Hartford with Pastor Roberto Calcano officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, (Section 21C), Bloomfield. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church on Saturday morning. Margot’s family will receive relatives and friends at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford on Friday (February 4, 2022) from 4 – 7 pm.
