Marianna Caterina Beaumont

Marianna C. (Pettinato) Beaumont, 60, of East Hartford, loving wife of 26 years of Gregory D. Beaumont, peacefully journeyed home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Hartford Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Hartford on September 16, 1960, a daughter of the late Albert W. and Mariantonia (Manocchio) Pettinato, she had been a lifelong resident of East Hartford. Marianna was a graduate of George J. Penney High School in East Hartford, class of 1978 and attended Central Connecticut State University.

A devout Catholic, Marianna was a woman of strong faith and a communicant of St. Christopher Church, East Hartford. She loved going to the beach, playing cards (especially Solitaire), and solving word search puzzles. She was also a fan of the Boston sports teams and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Marianna was a talented cook and baker and took great pride in hosting holiday parties for her family and friends. Her house was always open for everyone as no one was a stranger in her home. Most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt whose family was the most significant part of her life.

In addition to her beloved husband, Marianna is survived by her daughter, Antonia Rose Beaumont of East Hartford; two brothers, Dino Pettinato and his wife Lisa, Nino Pettinato and his wife Judy all of East Hartford; her father-in-law, Edgar Beaumont, Jr. of Maine; four brothers-in-law, Ed Beaumont and his wife Louise, Bill Beaumont and Julie Stiles all of Maine, Gary Beaumont and his wife Susan of Southington, Jim Beaumont and his wife Christine of Longmeadow, MA; a sister-in-law, Theresa Pettinato of Tampa, FL. She also leaves six nephews and four nieces who she adored as her own children, Nino Pettinato and his wife Ashley, Michael Pettinato, Eddie Beaumont and his wife Casey, Charlie Beaumont, Nathan Beaumont, Gary Allen Beaumont, Rebecca Briggs and her husband Shaun, Melissa Beaumont, Nicole Beaumont, Kim Pettinato; and many dear friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son, Justin Todd Briere, and a brother, Robert Pettinato of Tampa, FL.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (December 15th) at 11 am at St. Christopher Church of St. Edmund Campion Parish, 538 Brewer Street, East Hartford. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. (Due to the current health crisis, everyone is asked to please go directly to the church on Tuesday morning and wear a face covering and adhere to the regulations and required number in attendance that is allowed at the church).
