Marie (Anselmo) Rossi, 65, passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 22, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Hartford, on April 27, 1959, she is the daughter of Peter and Jeanne (Perriolat) Anselmo and grew up in East Hartford, CT. Marie graduated from (high school) Class of 1977. Marie went to school for Nursing July 22, 1977 to become an X-ray Technician. Also, Marie was a spectacular chef! Her favorite hobby was home decorating. Above all, Marie was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.
Along with her parents of East Hartford, CT, Marie leaves behind her three sons Nick Rossi and his wife, Adair, from Atlanta, GA. Frank Rossi and his fiancé, Elly, from Atlanta, GA and Dominic Rossi his fiancé, Amanda, from Colorado. Two cherished grandchildren, Peter and Nico. Two sisters Alice Anselmo of New Jersey and Blanche Fellows of Glastonbury, CT; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A funeral service to honor Marie’s life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 10:30 am at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St. East Hartford. Burial will follow in Green Cemetery, Hubbard Street, Glastonbury. Marie’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the funeral home chapel from 4 – 7 pm.
