Martha Tracey

Martha P. (Richard) Barrieau-Tracey, 92, of Bolton and formerly East Hartford, beloved wife of the late Roger Barrieau and Lawrence Tracey, Sr., passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2017. Born in Lewiston, Maine on August 4, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Eli and Ida (Goulet) Richard. Martha was a former communicant of St. Christopher Church in East Hartford. She devoted her life to her family and was happiest when spending time with them. She will be dearly missed by her son, Richard J. Barrieau and wife Lori of Bolton; daughter, Susan M. Barrieau of Milford; two stepsons, Laurence Tracey, Jr. of Enfield and Wayne Tracey of East Hartford; four adored grandchildren, two brothers, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday November 27th at 10:30 a.m. St. Edmund Campion Parish (St. Christopher Church 538 Brewer St., East Hartford). Donations in Martha’s memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter 200 Executive Blvd S #4B, Southington, CT 06489.
