Michael "Mike" Alan Owens

Michael “Mike” Alan Owens, 28, of East Hartford, beloved son of Preston H. Owens of Berlin and Juanita Marius of East Hartford, passed away tragically as a result of an automobile accident on Friday, March 11, 2022. Mike was born in Hartford on March 8, 1994 and grew up in East Hartford, graduating from East Hartford High School in 2012, where he played on the football team. He was currently working as an HVAC apprentice for Glasco in South Windsor. Mike loved big trucks and was going for his Class A CDL license. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.

In addition to his parents, Mike will be forever missed by his two brothers, Malcolm Marius of East Hartford, and Dontae Evans of Hartford; five sisters, Shevone Owens of East Hartford, Lanise Owens of Texas, Chelsea Vaught of North Carolina, Clairise Claudio of Hartford and Mariah MacArthy of New London; one niece, Myelin Marius; two nephews, Orlin Melendez and Aiden Marius, as well as many other extended family members and friends.
