

Nancy Ann (Malloy) Richmond, 67, of East Hartford, loving wife of 44 years of Robert L. Richmond, peacefully entered into eternal life on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 with her caring family by her side. Born in Hartford on December 13, 1944, a daughter of the late Joseph T. and Nancy A. (Leone) Malloy, she had been a life-long resident of East Hartford. Nancy was a graduate of East Hartford High School, Class of 1963. Nancy took great pride in cleaning her home and other homes and was an extremely proud wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed supporting her children and grandchildren at their sporting events and school activities and was honored that they called her their “Number 1 Fan”. Besides her beloved husband, Bob, Nancy is survived by a son, Robert N. Richmond of Manchester; two daughters, Sherri L. Adams of Windsor Locks, Lori L. Rondinone and her husband, Steven, of South Windsor; four adored grandchildren who were the light of her life, Austin Adams and Taylor Adams both of Windsor Locks, Samantha Rondinone and Julia Rondinone both of South Windsor; a special niece who was another daughter to Nancy, Tracy Tromza and her husband, Kevin, of East Hartford; a brother, Joseph T. Malloy, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Amston; two sisters-in-law, Constance “Connie” Carenzo and her husband, Joseph, of Somers, Alicia Ziegler and her husband, Ivan, of Dallas, PA; two brothers-in-law, Nelson Richmond and his wife, Charlotte, of Hampden, MA, Edward Richmond and his wife, Grace, of West Suffield; several other nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Wotton of Manchester.
Funeral services will be Saturday (September 8th) with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 am at St. Christopher Church, 538 Brewer Street, East Hartford. (Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church on Saturday morning). Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Nancy’s name may be made to The UCONN Foundation/Neag Cancer Center, c/o The University of Connecticut Foundation, Inc., P.O.
