

Neal Kwort, 65, of East Hartford, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Born in West Hartford on August 7, 1957, he was the son of the late Murray and Mindy (Leader) Kwort. Neal was a graduate of Hall High School, West Hartford. He was employed as an Automotive Instructor for NAPA AutoTech. Neal was an ASE Certified L1 Master Technician. He was a classic car enthusiast, always looking for that special car to restore, and owning many over the years. His other passion was radio. A graduate of Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Neal “took to the air” as host of his own radio show “The Neal’s Wheals Car Care Show” that broadcast on various radio stations across Connecticut and Massachusetts. He enjoyed going out to dinner with his family and lunch with his close friends.
Neal will be forever missed by his two children, Jon Kwort and his longtime girlfriend Hayley Moquin, both of South Windsor and Kelly Arzola and her husband Eliezer of New Britain; his former wife, Kim (Guest) Kwort; his two sisters, Rhonda Kwort of West Hartford and Daveda Daniels of North Carolina; a special cousin, Lorna Brody of New York, and many other extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, October 13 from 4-7 p.m. at the D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford.
