Nga Tran

It is with great sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Nga “Lori” Tran of East Hartford on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at her home. Nga was the loving wife of 30 years of Xuan Bui of East Hartford, and the devoted mother of Andy Bui of East Hartford.

Nga was born in Saigon, Vietnam on May 4, 1970, a daughter of Vinh Thi Nguyen and the late Co Xuan Tran, and had been a resident of East Hartford since 2001. She was the owner and operator of Ace Beautiful Nails on Queen Street, Southington for the past 19 years. In her free time, Nga loved to clean, cook, and exercise. Most of all, Nga was a hard-working woman who took great pride in being a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt who cherished her time spent with her entire family.

In addition to her beloved husband and son, Nga leaves her mother Co in Vietnam; two brothers and three sisters all in Vietnam; her sister-in-law in East Hartford; two special dear nieces, Anh Nguyen and Phong Nguyen both of East Hartford; many loyal customers, and dear friends.

Public visitation hours for Nga will be Saturday (May 17, 2025) from 1 – 5 pm at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nga’ s memory may be made to a favorite charity of the donor’s choice.
