Patricia Ann DelRocco ""Pat"" Trombley

Patricia Ann ""Pat"" (DelRocco) Trombley, 72, of Westerly, RI and formerly of East Hartford and Glastonbury, peacefully passed away on Monday (August 30, 2010) at her home. Born in Hartford on February 13, 1938, a daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Micalone) DelRocco, she had resided in the East Hartford/Glastonbury area for most of her life prior to moving permantly down to Westerly, RI over 15 years ago. Prior to her retirement, Patricia was the former owner of Propane Gas Service in South Windsor where she worked for forty years. Pat enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and traveling with her family to various destinations throughout Europe and the Caribbean. However, most of all, Pat loved the ocean and spending quality time with her family and close friends. Along with her parents, Pat was predeceased by two sisters, Lucille Lyman of Granby and Phyllis Spera of Newington and Florida. Pat is survived by her two loving children, her son, Daniel B. Trombley and his wife, Audrey, of South Windsor, and her daughter, Cynthia ""Cyndie"" Doocy and her husband, Charlie, of Colchester; and two adored grandchildren, Cole Doocy and Caitlin Doocy both of Colchester. She also leaves three beloved sisters, Mary Tamiso and her husband, Stephen, of East Hartford, Dolores ""Lori"" Chicowicz and her husband, Charles, of East Hartford, Janice Pelletier and her husband, Gil, of Enfield; her husband, Bruce S. Trombley of Charlestown, RI; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Funeral services will be Saturday (September 4th) with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 44 Elm Street, Westerly, RI. Burial will follow at River Bend Cemetery, Beach Street, Westerly, RI. Relatives and friends may call at the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Cater Street, East Hartford on Friday (September 3rd) from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Patricia's memory may be made to the Hoffman Heart & Vascular Institute, 114 Woodland Street, Hartford, CT 06105.
