Born on December 28, 1966, in Hartford, Connecticut, Philip was the beloved son of the late Robert Tyrseck and the surviving Philomena Tyrseck. He graduated from RHAM High School before embarking on a fulfilling career in road construction, later earning his CDL license. Philip thrived as a professional driver, working for Alliance Imaging and United Steel for 19 years. He eventually retired to focus on caring for his cherished family.
Known for his incredible kindness and unwavering compassion, Philip had a rare ability to bring people together and lend a helping hand in any situation. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life—exploring the great outdoors, cooking, tackling home improvement projects, and working on vehicles. His passion for these hobbies was something he lovingly shared with his sons, always offering them advice and guidance.
Above all, Philip cherished his family and his loyal German Shepherds, who brought him immense happiness. His final wish for those he loved was to live life to the fullest and to embrace each moment with courage and gratitude.
Philip is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Tyrseck) Lugo of Apopka, Florida; his sons, Philip and Joseph Tyrseck of Concord, North Carolina; his significant other, Debra Gordon of Willington, Connecticut; his brothers, Bob (Jacqueline) Tyrseck of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, and Frederick Tyrseck of East Hampton, Connecticut; and his sister, Robin Ransom of Marlborough, Connecticut.
A private celebration of Philip’s life will be held at a later date for close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization close to his heart.
