Sara Salvatore

Sara (Pressamarita) Salvatore, 89, of East Hartford, widow of Henry Salvatore, went to be with Our Lord on Thursday, (July 27, 2006). Born in Italy, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Concetta Pressamarita, she had resided in East Hartford since 1954. She was a former communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and St. Christopher Church, East Hartford. Sara enjoyed cooking, yet her greatest joy was being around her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Salvatore is survived by two sons, Carmine Salvatore and his wife, Carol, and Henry Salvatore and his wife, Paulette, all of East Hartford; three daughters, Connie Morelli of East Hartford, Julie Preater and her husband, Harry, of South Windsor, Shirley Salvatore of East Hartford; a sister, Angie Murphy of West Hartford; nine special grandchildren; 17 adored great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Private funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
