Silvio N. Passaro

Silvio N. Passaro, 87, of East Hartford, beloved husband of fifty years of the late F. Jean (Taverna) Passaro , passed away on Wednesday (November 14, 2007). He was born in Hartford, son of the late Arturo and Pasqualina (Palmistra) Passaro and lived in East Hartford 47 years. Silvio worked for G. Fox. & Co. for 41 years and he ushered at the Bushnell Memorial for 40 years. He was a graduate of Weaver High School Class of 1938 and also the Hartford Institute of Accounting. He was an Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II serving with the Air Transport Command, stationed in North Africa. He leaves his loving family, daughter, Patricia Morrow of Salem, MA. son, Arturo Passaro II and his wife Valerie of Manchester, daughter, Jennifer Brown and her husband Steven of South Windsor, a son-in-law Fred Hough of CA; grandchildren, Nicole Lynne and Jonathan N. Passaro, Amanda Jean Passaro, Laura Jean Brown and Karen Lea Hough; brother Arden Passaro and his wife Mary Jane of East Hartford and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela Hough. Funeral services will be Saturday at 8 a.m. from the D'Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St. East Hartford, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, East Hartford.
