

Tammi Ann Ringuette, 44, of East Hartford, peacefully entered into eternal life after a long extended illness on Sunday, January 10, 2016 with her caring family by her side at Riverside Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in East Hartford. Born in Hartford on March 13, 1971, a daughter of Paul G. Ringuette and the late Barbara J. (Barlow) Ringuette, she had been a life-long resident of East Hartford. Tammi was a graduate of East Hartford High School, Class of 1989 and Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Class of 1993. While at college, Tammi majored in International Business and started her love for traveling the world. She traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and was a student of Astrology. Tammi worked for several years as a Substitute Language Teacher at area high schools and would often tutor students that needed extra assistance. She was an avid reader and a movie buff/critic. Most of all, Tammi was a smiling ""People Person"" who had an outgoing personality willing to always help others, especially her family who she loved dearly. Tammi is survived by her loving and devoted father, Paul G. Ringuette and his fiancée, Karen Knapp, of East Hartford; her aunt, Judy Kohl and her husband, Kurt, of Westchester, NY; two special cousins, Kimberly Naclerio and her husband, Michael and their children Jacob and Taylor, all of Westchester County, NY, Lori Hawkins and her husband, Michael and their son Christian, of Westbury, NY; several other dear cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Besides her beloved mother, Tammi was predeceased by her sister, Trisha S. Ringuette of Vernon. Funeral service will be Thursday, (January 14th) at 9:15 am from the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, Cambridge Drive, East Hartford. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday (January 13th) from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tammi's name may be made to Huntington's Disease (Fund # 22807), c/o UCONN Foundation, Inc., UCONN Health HD Program, 263 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, CT 06030-8037.
