

Virginia M. “Ginger” (Dzikiewicz) Foley, 72, of Enfield, entered into eternal life on Friday, May 9, 2014 at her home. Born in Hartford on January 16, 1942, a daughter of the late Thomas and Arleen (Baker) Dzikiewicz, she had been a resident of the East Hartford/Glastonbury area for most of her life prior to moving to Enfield three years ago. Virginia was formerly employed at REFCO Manufacturing in Manchester and was a proud mother and grandmother. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a son, Douglas K. Foley of Manchester. Virginia is survived by a son, Reginald E. Foley, Jr. and his wife, Charlene, of Rocky Hill; three grandchildren, Matthew Foley of Manchester, Erica Foley of Rocky Hill, Shannan Foley of Manchester; and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves three brothers, Thomas Dzikiewicz and his wife, Diane, of Broad Brook, Wayne Dzikiewicz and his wife, Connie, of North Carolina, Edward Dzikiewicz and his companion, Terry, of Colchester; her former husband, Reginald E. Foley, Sr. of Suffolk, VA; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday (May 14th) at 10:30 am at the D’ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, (Section E), East Hartford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 am.
