Baby Alexavier,
I’ve sat down to write this more times than I can count. But every time I try the tears come and the words don’t. Maybe that’s because it hurts too much to try to say good-bye. So instead I will tell you how much you are loved and how much you are missed. And although you were with us for the briefest of moments, you will be in our hearts forever. Do me a favor and continue watching over your parents – you have already made them stronger than they ever imagined they could be. Sending you hugs, kisses, and all my love, your great-aunt Becky


My dear sweet Alexavier,
I wish I could find the right words to tell you how much your brief stay on this earth meant to me. My heart swelled with joy and love the minute I found out your parents were expecting you. I longed to hold you and I asked God to grant your precious little body all the healing it might need. But God had other plans for you. And as much as it hurts, I know that you are in a better place. Know that I LOVED YOU and that I was your Great-Grandma long before you were born. You will always have a special place in my heart. Love always Great-Grandma Olga   


Zay Zay,

The first time Mom and Dad put that bandana on Copper meant the world to me💙. I was already choosing cloths for you and choosing a nickname for you. I was so happy to know that I finally get a baby brother and I get to be a big sister all over again. Then that one day Dad called me on face time and there u were, a chunky and adorable baby that looked just like his Momma. I cried tears of happiness when I saw ur little face. Each moment I was constantly texting Dad and Mom how u we're doing every second🥺. Then I came back from my Grandmas house and saw Ivy (Mom) in the car and I looked to the passenger seat to see if Zay Zay was sitting in his little carseat and... he wasn't💔. Then I thought "Maybe he is still in the ICU and they are taking care of him and watching him." Thats when I asked Dad how's little bro doing in the ICU. Unexpectedly we parked in a parking lot were my playground was near my house and he said to get out and we all stood outside the car and Dad started saying things.. That one moment I relized what he meant is when he said "He WAS a strong baby boy." And I fell to the floor but Dad caught me and said its ok... I can never feel the same when I remember that you are not with us.

My sweet boy. I still cannot find the words and probably won’t ever. My heart will never be the same but I know, when we meet again, it will be whole. I find comfort in the fact that you are in peace and in eternal happiness my little baby. Heaven is truly the only place for you, no matter how badly I want you with us. I love you, with all my being my Xavi. Just know, as much as you’re waiting for me, I’m waiting for you too.

Although you were only here a short amount of time, just know you will forever live in our hearts.  I hope I get to meet you in heaven where perhaps I can be a kid again & we can play with no limits :) Love you Alexavier! 

My little baby Zavi                                                                       I just can’t imagine life without you.  The day you came into this world was the happiest day ever I cried tears of joy started imagining all the fun things we were going to do but God had other plans for you.  He needed a little angel and picked you.  That broke my heart to pieces. I will forever miss you and know that you will be very loved. I will miss not being able to hold you and kiss your chubby cheeks.  I love you very much my little baby. Until we meet again. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Baby Alexavier you are so loved and will remain in our hearts forever. We give thanks to God for the moments on Earth he granted to you and your loving parents to be together.

Baby Alexavier no words can express how much my heart is broken at this moment. I cried tears of joy when your mommy and daddy told me I was going to be a Papa again . Now I cry  because the lord has taken you in his loving arms and made you an angel to look over your mommy, daddy and your big sister Airy. Now I cry these tears because I know you are not hurting anymore . I know you are in heaven with Gramps  holding his hand waiting for the day I see you again. Know you will be in my heart, soul and prayers forever.
