Alma A. Rodriguez

Alma A. Rodriguez, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend entered the gates of heaven March 5, 2013. Preceeded in death by her parents Beatriz and Adrian, husband Rene, Brother Raul, brother-in-law Roberto, and her beloved Anthony Montelongo. Left to mourn her loss are loving daughter Irma Mason, son-in-love Mike Mason, beloved grandson Samson Rivera. Her sister whom she adored, Alicia Orrantia. Cousins Ofelia Duarte and Hector Villalobos, Ricardo Orrantia, and Rosie Calatayud. Nieces and nephews Martha and Joseph Bohnaker, Robert and Sandy Orrantia, Aly Orrantia, Beatriz Chavira, Dinah Lopez, Amber and Ashley Bohnaker, Javi and Manny Ramirez, Taylor and Madison McDonald. Great grandson Austin, and her faithful companion Bon Bon. Countless loving relatives and friends, including her "Flores del Jardin" and her "adopted" family Andre, Ormandy, A'na, and Lucille. She was loved by many and touched so many hearts. Alma was a faithful parishioner of St. Pius X, and incredible cook, and avid reader. Most of all she was a beautiful soul. She was kind, loving, and truly generous. She would do without to help others in need. A true woman of God, Alma lived Jesus' command "Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another". Our hearts ache at the loss of our beautiful Alma. We rejoice in the Lord's promise that we will be united in heaven. Mom had an incredible sense of humor. She loved the slot machines and playing Texas Hold Em with her family. Thank you to the staff of Sierra ER and ICU. A special thank you, to Lorena for treating mom with such love. Your words and kindness will never be forgotten. Visitation will be Friday March 8, 2013 from 5pm - 9pm at Martin Funeral Home Central, with a vigil service at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday March 9, 2013 at 9:15am, at St. Pius X.
