Lala and Family,
My sympathies are with you and yours.  Learning of your Dad's passing made my heart sad.  Amado was always very kind to one and all.  He was very generous with his time, not only helping others but sharing a smile and genuine words that lifted other's hearts or put a smile on their faces.  People meant a lot to him, which is an exceptional quality.  It seems his top priorities were loving his family, others, his work, and thanking God.  Many will miss him.

With a broken heart I miss you dearly! But I'm forever grateful that you waited for us to come back home and see you before you went home.  I will always remember you picking us up from school, you would either take us to the park,or...if we annoyed you enough while chanting and banging the window on your truck..."pizza! Pizza! Pizza!" Then we were blessed to get spoiled by you as you took us to Peter Piper Pizza. Nonetheless, always a great time with my grampis!! And your chicharrones were the best ever! I miss you so much grampis.  Truly one of a kind! I love you. Till we meet again my grampis. ❤️❤️❤️

Grandpa, I will always remember going to your house on Sundays and playing poker when I was young.  You are now with my Grandma in heaven. Give her and Uncle Harpo a big hug and kiss for me. I love you very much.

Daddy.. eras único.. todo sabías hacer no batallabas para arreglar las cosas de nuestras casas y las de tus vecinas. Siempre prestando de tu tiempo y ramienta. Como Padre eras igual,único!! Nunca nos faltó nada porque siempre trabajaste para la familia y tu cariño nunca cambio .. fuimos muy queridos y tu y mi Mamasita fueron los ejemplos para nosotros. Jamás te besare,abrazaré o hablar contigo o jugar póker o simplemente traerte a mi casa o llevarte comida a la tuya. Mi Flaco y yo siempre quisimos que vivieras con nosotros. Mis hijos,Héctor y Jesse te amaron igual que yo mucho y mi Nietos Nic y Mia también. Tu muñeca Mía todavía pregunta por ti. Entra a la recámara buscándote .. te vamos estrenar muchísimo! Mr. Armendarez, as I remember, was a man of few words.  His words were always gente, loving and purposeful. He was always willing to lend a hand! He was generous with his time and his heart! It was always a privilege to have been in his company.

Daddy,  although my heart is heavy with pain, I  am grateful that our heavenly father has finally lead you home to rest & find peace...no more pain, no more suffering. I am blessed to have as  my daddy,  a loving, silly, hardworking, strong provider.  I will miss & love you all the days of my life which will never be the same without you! Te quiero mucho "Daddy"

How I remember as a little girl watching Grandpa play poker with everybody and enjoying the game with such joy. I am grateful that he was able to meet his grandkids and great grandkids.  You will always be in our hearts.

I will miss your laugh the most, it was so contagious. Seven card no peek will never be the same  without you 😔. Thank you for being the Best Grandpa to all us. I Love You, RIP 💙🙏🏻

I will continue to remember my Grandfather as a kind, generous hardworking individual. His legacy continues on with his loved ones. I am thankful to God to have spent sometime with him and share some conversation over coffee.

Loved when grandpa would make us pancakes every Sunday mornings when we'd spend the night at grandparent's house on the weekends as a kid.
