Anita Matamoros was called by our Lord on October 3, 2010. She was born in El Paso, on November 2, 1922. Anita was preceded in death by both her beloved husband Aurelio Matamoros and son Javier. She was totally devoted to her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, and a great grandmother. She was always there for all, never thinking of herself. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Anita is survived by daughter Margarita and husband W.A. “Butch” Sears, son Rafael Matamoros and wife Christina, son Aurelio Matamoros Jr., grandsons Jorge and wife Brenda, Gabriel, and great grandson Diego. Visitation will be held 5pm to 9pm on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central with a 7pm vigil. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Evergreen East Cemetery.
