She was born October 12, 1925, in El Paso, Texas.
Aurora was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Arturo Martinez and daughter Irene Rios.
Aurora is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Aurora Hernandez, Linda Hendry, Angie and her spouse Rudy Soto, and Manny Rios. She was a loving and cherished grandmother of Drysdale (Dale), Diane, Manuel (Tito), Yvette, Samuel (Sam), Sonia and Rudy. Great grandmother of Samantha, Genevieve, Stephanie Victoria, Ariel, Ayden, Isaac, Beau, Isabella, Alexa, and Courtney. All whom, loved her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace and undying love and caring for them.
She loved to cook, kept an immaculate house, was highly skilled with crochet hooks and enjoyed her weekend outings with her daughters and grandchildren. In her retirement, she enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family, cooking, arts and crafts, crocheting, shopping and tending to her yard and plants. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her daughters and grandchildren strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
