

Carmen passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She had such an incredible spirit and a huge heart, always radiating love to everyone she met. Her love was a quiet but powerful force, and her family was always her absolute priority. You could see her amazing strength in how tirelessly she cared for us, how resilient she was through tough times, and how generous she always was, even when things were difficult.
For all her kids and grandkids, Mom was so much more than just family. She was our comfort, our safe place, and truly the heart of our home. Her deep love shaped us into the people we are today, and it will keep guiding us forward.
Carmen will always be remembered as a devoted mom, a cherished grandmother, and a beloved family member. Her kindness, endless unconditional love, and quiet strength truly touched everyone she met. Her gentle presence brought so much comfort and warmth into our lives. Her legacy will definitely live on through the family she raised and loved so much. We'll miss her terribly, but she'll forever be in our hearts and memories.
Carmen was preceded in death by her sister, Terry Jimenez. She is survived by her beloved husband, Antonio. Carmen will live on through her children, Tony Gallegos Jr. (Barbara), Eddie Gallegos (Linda), and Jessica Valtierra (William). Her memory will remain with her grandchildren, Desiree Santiago, Nyssa Gallegos, Elyssa Gallegos, Kaylen Gallegos, Klarissa Gallegos, Amber Gallegos, Vivian Valtierra, and Vianey Valtierra. Carmen was a great grandmother to Milo and Angelo. She also leaves behind siblings, Margarita Machuca, Suky Carrillo, Alicia Pena, Mike Herrera, and Gabriel Herrera.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen, 12400 E Montana, 79938.
