Carmen L. Montoya, age 95, of El Paso, Texas passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021. Carmen was born July 14, 1926 in Chihuahua, Mexico, daughter of Benito Lira and Florentina Ramirez Lira.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Montoya. She is survived by her children, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 5, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79903, with Vigil at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 PM at St Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N Clark Drive, El Paso, Texas 79905, with committal service at 2:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Avenue, Fort Bliss, Texas 79906.
