Sammy,

Carmen, as the woman I knew. She had a wonderful disposition, it never changed. Friendly, giving and very soft spoken. I loved her. May she Rest in Peace!

To Sammy, Adela and John and Seth and the rest of Carmen’s family, I send my heartfelt condolences. Carmen was the most selfless person that I have ever known. She and I would talk almost weekly the past few months, and she was always more concerned about how I was feeling. We always had so much fun when she and Sammy came to Vegas. She loved to go to The Belagio to see the Conservatory and eat at the restaurant there.
We always talked about our shared love of Seth, Carmen’s only grandchild. We were both so proud of all of his accomplishments. We’d alway greet each other with, “Hi Nana, Hi Mimi”. What a great lady and I’m so glad she was my friend. I shall miss her so much. Love and hugs and my deepest sympathy to you all, Betsy (mom and Mimi)
