Catalina "Cata" Melchor Huerta

Loving mother, Catalina (Cata) Melchor Huerta, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Friday, February 5, 2016. She was a life time resident of El Paso. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Jr., son Francisco, her parents, two brothers and four sisters. Survived by her sons: Pedro III, Raul, Manuel, Alejandro, Roberto and Ruben; daughters: Juanita, Gloria, Norma and Lourdes all from El Paso, brothers: Jose, Jesus, Abel, Aurelio, Jose Guadalupe Melchor, sister Maria Sanchez, 25 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Cata was not only a loving wife, but also a wonderful mother grandmother and great grandmother. Her love was not limited to her family but was also felt by relatives and friends who found comfort upon stepping foot in her home. Our family was truly blessed when the Lord granted us so many wonderful years with our mother and grandmother. You were the heart and soul of the family. There is not going to be a day that you will not be missed. Visitation held from 4pm to 5pm Thursday, February 11 at Martin F.H. Central with Rosary at 6:30pm at Guardian Angel Church. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30am Friday, February 12 at Guardian Angel Church, Fr. Mena officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery,
