Cecilia Jackson

Our beloved Angel, Wife, Mother and Grandmother and Sister, Cecilia (Cici) Jackson passed on July 27, 2024, after a long and brutal illness. She was 77. Cici was the heart of our home and family. Cecilia was a beloved and faithful member of her LDS church. Cici was an El Paso Police Officer with the El Paso Police Department and the University of Texas El Paso while living in El Paso Texas.

Cici was happily married to Orville (Bud) Jackson. She raised two beautiful daughters in a happy and loving home to be independent and thoughtful adults. Barbara Washington(Warren) who has three children Allisha Patrice Ramos, Joshua Webster and Jordan Washington, Daughter Beverly Ortiz(David), who have three children Samantha McMillan, Johnny Lee Ortiz and Katherine Mendoza(Joshua). Cici was also a loving bonus mom to three young ladies Kim Axtel(Jay), Tracy Peck(Dave) and Michelle Kirby(Rebecca) and their families who added love and joy to her life. Cici is survived by her brother Joe C Brown, her sister Peggy Coleman, 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cici was preceded in death by her mother Flora Belle Love, her dad Jesse A Love, her biological father Edgar C Brown, and her sister Edwina Krohn.

Visitation for Cecilia will be on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, Texas 79906.
