Cecilia Lara, 87, passed on May 23, 2026; she was born on December 28, 1938, in El Paso, Texas.

Cecilia is survived by her sister, Carmen Henry; her brother, Jose Reymundo Lara (Glenda); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rosary will be held at St. Patrick Cathedral, 1118 North Mesa Street on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 9:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Burial will take place at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Road at 11:30 am.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Henry, Robert Henry, Oscar Fraire, Christopher Quinones, Charles Quinones , Edward Gorner, and Mohamad Vatankhah, with Taya Fraire serving as an Honorary Pallbearer.
