It is with broken hearts that the family of Charles Richard Stone announces his passing into the light on January 27, 2022. A strong and loving son, brother, husband, and father, Chuck was born on May 7, 1969 at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He graduated from Burges High School in 1988, where he received many awards for his participation in sports and his artwork. He went on to study at UTEP, Texas Tech, and RISD, where he Majored in Art and Design, then enjoyed a successful career in graphic design and advertising in Dallas, Texas. He also earned 75 design awards at national and international levels. These were published in several books and manuals. In 2014, he moved back to El Paso to be closer to his daughters and to help care for his father. He joined Responsive Learning as a Marketing Director. In his free time, Chuck enjoyed attending his daughters’ many sporting and school activities and being with friends and family. His hobbies were music and food, which he shared with his loved ones through backyard karaoke sessions and cooking delicious meals.
He is preceded in death by his father, David Stone. He is survived by his daughters, Trinity Rae and Sye Grace; his wife, Rebecca; his mother, Sandy Stone; his brothers, David (Robin) and Chris (Hyen Mi); his nieces and nephew, Katie, Jessie, Erin, and Connor; his uncles, Pete Lewinski (Sylvia) and Robert Hein; his boss, Tommy Tinajero, and friends at Responsive Learning; the Eddie Quinonez family; the Keller family; and many other relatives and friends. His presence and spirit will be dearly missed.
Visitation will take place at Funeraria del Angel Central (3839 Montana) on Thursday, February 17, from 5-8pm, with a rosary to be held at 6pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (1315 Travis) on Friday, February 18, at 10:30am. (Rosary will be livestreamed via Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/fdacentral/)
