Christine Gross, wonderful wife, mom and Mimi slipped away peacefully from her earthly body to go to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, November 8th, 2018 at 86 years of age. She was born in West Virginia on July 19, 1932 to William Bowman and Mabel Jewel Damron.
Chris was a life long resident of El Paso, Texas before moving to Midland, TX in April 2017. She married James Gross on December 9, 1953 and they shared 48 years together until his death in 2001. Mom lived a full life and was devoted to her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Debbie and husband Marc Bergen of Midland, TX . Her son, Kenny and wife Sarahi Gross of El Paso, TX. Mimi's grandkids, whom she adored are Danielle and husband Tommy Hosier; Brandon and wife Ashley Bergen all of Midland, TX. and Christian Gross of Lubbock, TX. Her precious Great Grandkids are Mason Hosier and Cooper Bergen of Midland, TX.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening - November 15th from 5-7 pm at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79903. A private burial will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
