Ciro Herrera Lopez, 77, entered into eternal life on October 31, 2021 in El Paso, TX. He was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a friend to many. He leaves behind five daughters, fourteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was born in Ft. Stockton, Texas, December 6, 1943.
He lived in El Paso, from 1952-2021. He attended Zavala Elementary, Thomas Jefferson High School 1958-1963. He played varsity football 1962-63. He was chosen football captain, wrestling captain and junior favorite in 1963. He was certified as a Master Auto Specialist after attending Western Tech in the early 90’s. He was an avid reader of El Paso City history. He enjoyed dancing, restoring vehicles and swimming.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Liz, Yvonne, Ruby, Lety and Lisa, brother Manuel, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm, with Prayer service at 6:30pm, Friday, November 19, at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral Mass will be 9:30am Saturday, November 20, at Funeraria Del Angel Central followed by committal service at 11:30am at Restlawn Cemetery, 4848 Alps.
